The Royal Arch & Kent Museum of Freemasonry “In-Camera”
There were strange goings on at a recent meeting of East Kent Stewards Chapter.
A somewhat dishevelled late arrival interrupted the meeting, who had to be reminded how to dress and behave properly. And all in the presence of our Provincial Grand Superintendent to boot!

Basil Gilbert celebrates 70 Years as a Freemason
On Wednesday 8th June, Assistant Provincial Grand Master WBro Martin R Barlow together with a group of Members of Massada Lodge No 8130 which meets at Altrincham Masonic Hall and friends, helped WBro Dr. Basil Gilbert OBE celebrate 70 Years in Freemasonry.
The Masonic Trout and Salmon Fishing Charity
The Branch fishing events this year proved very successful with three days for the children, the first at Gilcrux on Wednesday 11th May and the second and third days at Tarnhouse Tarn near Kirkby Lonsdale on the 17th and 18th May respectively.
AMD London – Second of the District’s luncheons
The second of the District’s luncheons was held April 6th at the Bleeding Heart restaurant in the middle of Hatton Garden. After a refreshing glass or two of fizz, the 50 or so members and guests took their seats and were given a warm welcome by the District Grand Prefect, R.W.Bro Colin Woodcock.
Knights of the Provincial Priory of Durham donate £14000 to St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group
The Most Eminent and Supreme Grand Master, Timothy J. Lewis, G.C.T. was presented with a cheque for £14,000 from the Knights of the Provincial Priory of Durham in aid of the St John of Jerusalem Eye Hospital Group.

1st June saw the 89th Regular and 22nd Installation meeting of Temple of Athene Lodge No. 9541, the Masonic Research Lodge of the Province of Middlesex.

Worshipful Master of Dorset Masters’ Lodge, Clive Deakin accompanied by Terry Case, their Charity Steward, attended a particularly enjoyable Regular Meeting of the New Forest Lodge of Installed Masters, no.9665. In attendance was Geoffrey Tuck, Assistant Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Hampshire & Isle of Wight accompanied by Officers of that Province.
