Javea 40 Hog Roast raises 1,400 Euros
Local Freemasons Lodge, Javea 40, hold Hog Roast
On Tuesday, June 14th local Freemasons held a gigantic hog roast at the beautiful country home of Worshipful Master Ray Guise-Smith and his lovely wife Coral. The primary function of the hog roast was to raise money for the Raquel Paya pecial eeds School in Denia. This party was a huge success by every measure. More than seventy-five Masons and guests arrived to enjoy beautiful weather, food, entertainment and company.
Lascelles Masonic Lodge in Wetherby has donated £500 to to buy equipment for their Gardening Scheme.
Children have learnt about the importance of BEES and how we can look after them, by becoming aware of how delicate their environment is and being a life scientist in the process.
On 2nd June, 2016, prior to the final meeting of the Trevor Kelway Lodge No. 8466 before its summer break, the Worshipful Master, W.Bro. Robert Stevens, presented a cheque to Mr Clive Scourfield, the Wales Air Ambulance Charity Community Coordinator for Carmarthenshire. Also included in the picture are members of the Trevor Kelway Lodge.
During the open day at the Masonic Rooms in Malvern on the 25th June, Malvern Priory Mark Lodge No 1351 presented the Worcester Army Cadet Force Charitable Trust with a cheque for £650 in support of the excellent youth development work undertaken within the area.
The Freemasons Elrona Lodge 384 which meets at the Greensborough Masonic Centre in Esther Street Greensborough, has once again supported Kalparrin with an exceedingly generous donation of $4000.
Freemasons Victoria and the Freemasons Foundation are very proud to hand over a cheque for $750,000 to the Australian Prostate Cancer Research Centre.
Yateley Lodge No. 9107 have recently been able to provide a valuable donation to the Action Bladder Cancer Charity. W.Bro. Steve Saunders during his year as Worshipful Master of the Lodge was committed to providing assistance to this important charity.
