WBro Allan Williams and Prince Llewellyn Lodge members ensured that a local charity, IPLANit KIDS, which offers a diverse way of benefiting children in the community has had a great result.
Children have learnt about the importance of BEES and how we can look after them, by becoming aware of how delicate their environment is and being a life scientist in the process.
Ness Garden’s Rose Froud, Event Manager, said it was a “brilliant idea that IPLANit KIDS had dreamt up and a huge success, something never been achieved at their botanical garden centre since it opened”
IPLANit KIDS founder Stace Conroy added “It was truly an inspirational day for everyone that took part. Some children have had troublesome backgrounds and the event proved a huge success for them. It was a day of becoming a Life Scientist for those that may never have the chance. Everyone has to be included in all levels of education nowadays, it’s just how you approach it with them that is the key. Just because people act differently doesn’t mean they think differently, when given the opportunity to be something rather than nothing
Another trip is booked for August to further educate the children of our generation.
