The ‘Open Door Centre’ is a small local Charity based in Liscard, Wallasey which provides Creative Theraputive Services to those aged between 15 & 30yrs who are suffering with mental illness issues. Such services include music, arts, unique training and volunteering opportunities. The Charity operates a ‘drop-in’ policy which is free of charge and is run by young people for the benefit of young people.
Cheshire Masons recently assisted the Charity with a donation of £2,500.00 toward the purchase and installation of a new boiler in their premises. Without the support of organisations such as ourselves and public donations this Charity would not be able to continue providing this valuable service which is unfortunately seeing an in increase in request for assistance from those in the 15-30yrs of age target group.
