On Saturday 18th June 2016
The members of Partick gathered in the Mason halls @ 92 Dumbarton Rd for a rare celebration of both The Royal Arch Chapter and Cryptic Council :-
- In the Morning Partick cryptic Council No 113 Celebrated 100 years with a Rededication Ceremony preformed by the Commissioned office bearers of the Provincial Grand Royal Arch chapter of Glasgow. The Thrice Illustrious Master Richard Jackson took the Oath of Reaffirmation on behalf of the council Members
- In the Afternoon Partick Royal Arch Chapter No 113 celebrated 150 years With a Rededication Ceremony Performed by Supreme Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Scotland. With the First Principal Alan Cuthill taking the Oath of reaffirmation on behalf of the members of the Chapter.
Both Ceremonies were very well performed by both Provincial and Supreme Grand Chapters.
Afterwards we were treated to a splendid 3 course meal and some good speeches from the Companions at the top Table the raffle was great with many prizes to be won and some members were lucky enough to win more than one.
Each of the members and visitors were given a centenary Glass and a small key ring torch and a laminated masonic poem ( The Arch and the Word) A very enjoyable and memorable day for everyone in attendance.
