Freemasons provide grocery packs to 515 residents

Muntinlupa resident receive groceries for getting vaccinated against Covid

Muntinlupa City Masonic Lodge 414 has partnered with Ospital ng Muntinlupa to incentivize residents who have received their coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccine. Hospital ng Muntinlupa director Dr. Edwin Dimatatac said all those vaccinates in the city hospital were inoculated with Gamaleya’s Sputnik V vaccine also received grocery packs from the freemasons group including a laminated vaccination card. Dimatatac clarified that the grocery items are not a form of payment for those who will get their Covid-19 jab but rather an “incentive” and “gift” for those who have participated in the local vaccination program. The local Masonic Lodge has also launched a motorcade encouraging residents in the communities to get vaccinated prior to the distribution of the grocery packs.

As of May 27, a total of 46,015 residents have received their first dose of Covid-19 vaccine, of which 16,989 have received their second dose. For those inoculated with their first dose, 22,758 received Sinovac, 16,771 were inoculated with AstraZeneca, 2,979 with Gamaleya’s Sputnik V, and 3,507 with Pfizer-BioNTech.

Further, Barangay Sucat has launched a raffle campaign for 20 vaccinated residents to win 25 kilos of rice to boost the vaccination program against Covid-19.
