Freemasons Ashlar Lodge No. 98 Honors Firefighter’s, Detective’s, Trooper’s and Paramedic’s

Ashlar Lodge No. 98 and the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Florida honored First Responders at an event on July 21st recognizing Outstanding Firefighter, Outstanding Law Enforcement, and Outstanding Paramedic certificates were presented to five officers.

The recipients, their families, friends, and supervisors were invited to the Lodge to participate in a Family Night meal and celebration. More than 80 people were in attendance.

Outstanding Firefighter of the Year Certificates were presented to LT. Pete Weiland of the St. Augustine Fire/Rescue Department and to Firefighter Robert Harper of the St. Johns County Fire/Rescue Department. Outstanding Law Enforcement of the Year Certificates were presented to Detetive Samantha English of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office and to Trooper Colise Fraizer of the Florida Highway Patrol. An Outstanding Paramedic of the Year Certificate was presented to Paramedic/Firefighter Hardus Oberholzer of the St. Augustine Fire/Rescue Department.

The presentations were made by James R. Bailey, Worshipful Master of Ashlar Lodge No. 98. Each recipient also received a gift in honor of their service to our community.
