WBro. Clem Spencer PPGPurs visited St Peters Lodge No. 1125 in Tiverton to deliver a defibrillator to them and was presented with a cheque for £2,000 for HeartSWell.

Devon Freemasons donate thousands to help people across the county

The Devon Freemasons donated £7,500 to the charity at a presentation on June 20 where Chief Executive DCF, Martha Wilkinson was delighted to be presented with the cheque by Ian Kingsbury, the Provincial Grand Master of Devonshire Freemasons.

W.Bro. George Tumbridge joined the Home Guard at the age of 16 and in 1942 he was called into the Army and was posted to the Royal Armoured Corps as a Driver/Signals Operator. In 1944 he volunteered to join the 6th Airborne Armoured Regiment, and trained on light tanks to be transported in Gliders.

The Devon Masonic Golf Association Spring Meeting was held on Thursday 26th May 2016 at Honiton Golf Club, Honiton. 32 Brethren in total from North, East, South and West Devon enjoyed a day’s golf with a 2 course meal and prize presentation all in aid of Charity.
