Derby Mountain Rescue Team were established in 1965 after a tragic incident on the infamous Four Inns walk across the Peak District. The Team has grown in strength and stature and their expertise in search and rescue is highly respected by all of the emergency services, particularly the Police with whom they have a very strong working relationship.
