At a ceremony on Sunday, July 16, the Freemasons of Orient Lodge presented a dedicated rescue ski entitled ‘The Boy Ian’, named in memory of former Master of The Lodge, Ian Paterson.
At the Dungeness lifeboat training evening on Wednesday 14 September, the Worshipful Master from the local Romney Marsh Freemasons Lodge, John King presented a cheque for £500 to Roger Gillett, the lifeboat operations manager of the lifeboat station.

This donation was part of the Master’s List raised by the lodge during Lt Cdr James King’s year as lodge Master and was received by Will Collins, an RNLI employee and volunteer member of the Poole lifeboat.
