Despite atrocious weather conditions in the morning which almost rendered the course unplayable, the ground-staff worked wonders to enable our 32 players to get out on the course. Unfortunately, during the event the weather once again intervened to ensure that everyone had, if not an enjoyable day, definitely one which they will long remember with a certain number of balls being ‘retired’

Melish of Cincinnati, the Chairman of the Executive Committee of an Association which has been organised in the United States of America, for the purpose of raising a Relief Fund to aid the needs of Freemasons and their families who are sufferers through the European War

It’s hard to believe that this has been out for a dozen years now, and yet plenty of Masons have still never run across it before. The online version is free for anyone, and there’s a Lulu hard copy booklet available at cost, as well. It could probably use some updating in some areas, but it still holds up today because, sadly, so many items discussed in it have not changed in over a decade.
