A cheque for £1,000 has been presented to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in Poole from the Grand Charity Relief Chest of Public Schools Installed Masters’ Lodge, No. 9077. This donation was part of the Master’s List raised by the lodge during Lt Cdr James King’s year as lodge Master and was received by Will Collins, an RNLI employee and volunteer member of the Poole lifeboat.

The fourteenth National Service Day took place at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, on Sunday 26th June 2016. With a large audience and many invited guests and participants, this event was splendidly organised by Gerald Rose, who is the Chairman of the National Service Veterans Foundation. The Birmingham & Solihull branch (formerly known as Headway West Midlands) is a relatively small, but growing voluntary organisation with ambitious plans for future expansion of its services. It is a registered charity, fully qualified to receive our support.
Royal Brunswick Lodge has been supporting FABLE over this last year and had raised £1000 to which it was able to add another £1500 from the Provincial Grand Master’s Fund to kick-start the project to provide epilepsy bed alarms to families where a child with sever epilepsy is affected by night-time seizures
