WBro Walton Bowyer PPrSGW celebrated 50 years in Masonry on Wednesday 4th May at Hartford Golf Club.
The Worshipful Master, WBro Michael Shiels PPrJGD, opened the lodge and offered the chair to WBro Martin Barlow APGM, who gladly accepted.
WBro Barlow then gave a detailed account of the Masonic life of WBro Walton Bowyer and expressed his great pleasure in being able to perform this ceremony and thanked him for his immense commitment and contribution to Masonry.
WBro Barlow also thanked Bro Tom Reid (Treasurer) and Bro Ian Grieve (Senior Deacon and Past Master) of Lodge St. John No. 187 who had both travelled especially from Carluke in Scotland for this celebration.
WBro Barlow then presented a Certificate on behalf of RWBro Stephen Blank PGM to WBro Bowyer recognising his 50 years as a Mason in the Province of Cheshire.
During the enjoyable social board, a cheque was presented to WBro Bowyer for his chosen Charity, the Neuromuscular Centre in Winsford.
