Two Bridges Six Provinces Charity Cycle Run 6 August 2017 – Scotland

Complete the circular cycle route from South Queensferry to Kincardine, returning via the Fife Coast and the Forth Road Bridge.

Cycle from South Queensferry to the Kincardine Bridge, returning via the Fife Coast and crossing the Forth Road Bridge.

This event is organised by the The Provincial Grand Lodge of Edinburgh, who have decided to raise funds after selecting MND Scotland as their charity of the year.

The cycle starts at 10am and takes a circular route from South Queensferry on main roads which are quiet on Sundays, cycling along the southern edge of the Firth of Forth, through the picturesque fishing villages of Bo’ness and Grangemouth and then over the Kincardine Bridge. There is a comfort break at a feed station before coming back along the Fife Coastal Route, and returning via the Forth Road Bridge to our finish ceremony.

You don’t need to be an expert cyclist as there are three set-off times for varying abilities. Anyone between 12 and 17yrs must bring a participating adult, and you can use any bike you like – but you’ll be much fresher at the end if you use (or borrow) a road bike.
