Teddies for Loving Care is a favourite charity of Freemasons around the country and indeed beyond, with well over a million teddies distributed to children in Accident and Emergency situations in England, Ireland, and even abroad.
Shropshire has given out around 30,000 of the cute bears since 2010, and the charity received a welcome boost early in September when a meeting of Column Lodge featured a talk about TLC by WBro Jeremy Lund, and WM David Heywood presented cheques totalling £600 to WBro Lund. This magnificent contribution represents donations from both Column and Longmynd – WBro Heywood is Master of both lodges, and is very committed to the charity as his son William has received three teddies on different occasions!
