Children getting more braille books thanks to Freemasons

The BMCF (Bucks Masonic Centenary Fund) recently donated a £1000 to purchase a large guillotine, and artwork materials, to help produce braille books for young sight-impaired children.

Back in 2018 Buckinghamshire Freemasons raised over £3500 which included a donation of £500 from Winslow Lions to buy young Dexter Ward, who is severely visually impaired due to Congenital Glaucoma, a braille machine.

Freemasons organise Veteran’s Day Lunch

On Sunday 12th November 2017, following the Remembrance Day services, W. Bro. Colin Cruse of Grand Union Lodge, 9641 welcomed 135 war veterans and ex-servicemen to the 10th Annual Remembrance Sunday Lunch held at the Bell Hotel Winslow, by kind permission of Philip and Julie Menday.

Buckinghamshire Freemasons help Cippenham School visit Whipsnade Zoo.

Year 6 pupils from Cippenham School, in Slough, recently enjoyed an end of term day out at Whipsnade Zoo thanks to Buckinghamshire Freemasons.

Members of the Old Paludians Lodge, a former Grammar School Lodge which meets at the Slough Masonic Centre, wanted to send the children on a great day out but at £3,000 it was a big ask to fund the whole trip.
