Summer Opportunities for Youth Leaders

This summer, Masonic youth will convene with adult volunteers in San Diego and Stockton for LxWeek 2016 – a new opportunity for Masonic youth to gain advanced leadership and real-life skills, including mentoring, social negotiation, and more.

This special program, designed by Grand Chaplain John Hinck and Northern California DeMolay Executive Director James Banta, along with input from youth leaders and adult mentors throughout California, is the first of its kind in California to unite Masonic youth from all four youth orders for a shared leadership development experience.

Expert staff will come from all walks of life and are experts in the fields of civility, membership attraction and retention, dance, art, music, and leadership development. Youth will have an opportunity to meet fellow youth leaders while participating in hands-on, interactive sessions and experiences.

Thanks to donations from the Masonic community, the entire weekend cost only $75 per youth leader, and includes housing, meals, a take-home package, and all programming. Interested Masonic youth can learn more about registration at freemason.org.
