‘Loyal Sportman’ kick off with ‘Open Night’ at Barry Masonic Hall

An “Open Evening” hosted by Loyal Sportsman Lodge is being held at the Barry Masonic Hall, Broad St, on Friday, June 24, 2016.

Kick-off is at 7pm. Following a short informal talk on freemasonry, famous sporting Masons and the Loyal Sportman Lodge, there will be a tour of the delightful building, and light refreshments afterwards, with an opportunity to ask questions.

This is the first of many opportunities to visit Barry Masonic Hall and the other 21 halls throughout south Wales, over the next 18 months. The buildings, which are part of the rich heritage and history of their communities, host over 160 lodges, with 10 lodges based in Barry.

Freemasonry is about to celebrate 300 years since the formation of the United Grand Lodge in 1717. As part of the Tercentenary, the South Wales Province will be inviting the public to heritage Open Days, and have a variety of events to showcase the charitable achievements.

Loyal Sportsman Lodge looks forward to welcome visitors to the Open Evening. To find out more, please contact Gary on 07916 266772 or Gwyn on 07818 701701 and visit their website http://loyalsportsman.org/
