Lincolnshire Freemasons support Local Charities

The Lincoln Lodges came together to present cheques of £750 each to charities they had nominated for the 2017 New Provincial Benevolent Fund Grants. Each of the representatives for the charities gave informative talks on their Charity, and after the presentations AProvGM, David Wheeler thanked them all for attending and all the fantastic work that they do in their various volunteer roles.

Witham Lodge’s Worshipful Master, Chris Smith presented cheques to Age Concern representative Susan Kellitt, and to Guide Dogs for the Blind represented by Alison Kinch, John Kinch and Keith Doddy accompanied with their dogs Quaver and Dolby. Minster’s Worshipful Master, Ian Cumber presented a cheque to KIDS Lincolnshire’s Fundraiser Phillip Greenwood. NHS Nurse Beth Croft received a cheque from Peter Hill of Excalibur Lodge for the Breast Cancer Support Pink Ribbon Programme. John Hudson of Ashlar Lodge gave cheques to Rosemary Murtlock-French of Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance and to Jim Cook of LEBBS the Blood Bikes Service. Matts Fund Charity fundraisers Bob and Diane Boulton received the grant from Peter Hill of Paulinus Lodge. Richard Bixley from St Hugh Lodge presented cheques to Karen Johnson representing Green Synergy for the Hillside Project in Lincoln, and Sue Ormston Group Leader for EPOC a Cancer awareness group.
