Over the past few days Doric Lodge has presented two cheques, each for £750, as received from the New Provincial Benevolent Fund to two local charities in the Grantham area:
The cheque was presented by Bro Walter Cook (Senior Warden of Doric) to Mr John Williams, Chairman of the Grantham Talking Newspapers Committee at their office. Also present were Bro Liam Stedman (Left) and W Bro David Pickup (Doric Lodge Charity Steward)(right).
The cheque was presented at the Masonic Hall, Grantham, by W Bro Sunil Silva (IPM of Doric) to Mrs Denise Taylor, local Chairman of the Hearing Dogs for the Deaf charity. Also present were W Bro David Pickup (Doric Lodge Charity Steward)
and, most importantly, Ronnie, the Hearing Dog, and Mr Michael Wilson, Ronnie’s owner.
