Lincolnshire Freemasons make further donations to Charities

The photograph above depicts the charity presentations made by the Lodges at Long Sutton last Wednesday. The Worshipful Master of Fenland Daylight Lodge, W Bro Les Penney made the introductions and went on to explain that the Provincial Grand Lodge of Lincolnshire to mark the 300th year anniversary of the foundation of Freemasonry in England, was donating some £102000 to non-Masonic Charities in Lincolnshire. These Charities had all been nominated by the local Lodges.

The Worshipful Masters of Alexandra Lodge Bro William Webb, Saint Mary Lodge, Bro Brian Hind, and Fenland Daylight Lodge Bro Les Penney, presented cheques of £750 each to the representatives of the following non-Masonic Charities; 1st Holbeach Brownies, St. Barnabas  Hospice Trust, “Little Miracles” Playgroup, The Respite Association and “Home-Start”Lincolnshire.

All recipients expressed their grateful thanks, and went home very happy people.
