On Monday 3rd December, Brethren from Broadsmith Lodge No 3593 accompanied by WBro Jeffrey Cunningham, PProvJGW, APGM Area One, dropped into the Cancer Research UK shop at Moreton to present a cheque in the sum of £2,500.
The cheque was received with delight by the ‘Lady Volunteers’ who the shop Manager Paul described as “the lifeblood of their organisation”.
The money is part of the sum raised at the Lodge’s Gala Charity Night which was held at Carden Park Hotel in August and will go towards supporting the research into eradicating Cancer.
