A rare chance to see inside the world of Freemasonry. The highlight of the building is the symbolic and ornate temple, there is also a display of memorabilia associated with freemasonry. Members of the lodges will be present to explain the building and the role of Masonry today.Freemasonry in Deal can be traced back to a Royal Navy Lodge in 1764. The Masonic Hall dates from 1910 and is currently the meeting place for five lodges.
