On Saturday 5th August, Carl Fryer (Seacombe Lodge), and Wayne Dwyer (Thermopylae Lodge) were pleased to present three Heavy Duty ‘Pop Up’ Gazebos to the Staff at Tam O’Shanters farm in Birkenhead, bought from some of the proceeds of the recently held joint Race Night.

On Friday 28th July 2017, members of the newly formed Cumbria Chapter of the Widows Sons Masonic Bikers Association rode down to Mold in Northern Wales to attend the Widows Sons 2017 National Rally and to receive their official Charter.

A fantastic introduction to the delights of fishing was provided by the West Lancashire branch of the Masonic Trout and Salmon Fishing Charity (MTFC), who held their first event for 2017 at the Clear Water Fisheries, Borwick, Carnforth. The event was held over two days, with members of the Help for Heroes Band of Brothers and Sisters team attending on the first day and young adults with special needs attending on the second day.

Lodge Mentor of Boldmere Lodge No 4704, W Bro Graham C Holt accompanied by the Lodge Secretary, W Bro Dennis R Trent, travelled to the village of Woolminstone in Somerset to the home of W Bro Donald Fraser, an Honorary Member of the Lodge, to present him with his 50 year certificate in Freemasonry, on behalf of The RW Provincial Grand Master, W Bro David F Macey.
