Friday the 17th of February 2017 will be a day long remembered in the annals of Skegness Masonic History as the day the official Dedication took place of the new Masonic Centre on Holly Road, Skegness. The determination, hard work and enthusiasm of the Skegness Lodges came to fruition when the Provincial Grand Master for Lincolnshire, Right Worshipful Brother Graham Ives, accompanied by his Provincial Team, distinguished guests, visitors and Brethren celebrated the Dedication of the new building to the benefit and good purposes of Freemasonry.

Tudor Lodge held a Charity evening at the Grange Banqueting Suite on 22nd February when a near capacity audience enjoyed a concert by the Dalesmen Male Voice Choir, who had given their services free for the evening.

During his year as the Worshipful Master of Coritani Lodge – one of the five Masonic Lodges which meet in Daventry – WBro Max Reynolds held a number of social and sporting events to raise funds in support of several national and local charities which are close to his family’s heart. One such charity is Breast Cancer Care.
In May of last year Masons from the Caledonia Lodge number 68 presented a cheque for EUR2000 to the Age Concern Centre, Costa Blanca Sur in Torrevieja to go towards the purchase of a new bus, to assist in transporting elderly, local citizens.
