Freemasons make donation to Lancashire and South Cumbria Kidney Patients Association

The recent installation meeting of Royal Preston Chapter No 333 saw the chapter presented the principal guest, Ian Higham, with a charity cheque in support of the Lancashire and South Cumbria Kidney Patients Association.As the funds for the donation were raised in the 2017-2018 season, the former first principal and charity steward of the chapter, Trevor Phillips, arranged to meet with the association chairman, John Sagar to personally present the cheque for £300.

Freemasons donate TLC Bears to Royal Gwent Hospital Children’s Assessment Unit

The Chairman and Secretary dropped off a goodly number of bears to the Royal Gwent Hospital Children’s Assessment Unit this afternoon, replenishing stock for the Teddies for Loving Care Scheme that began last May.

On Sunday 12th November 2017, following the Remembrance Day services, W. Bro. Colin Cruse of Grand Union Lodge, 9641 welcomed 135 war veterans and ex-servicemen to the 10th Annual Remembrance Sunday Lunch held at the Bell Hotel Winslow, by kind permission of Philip and Julie Menday.
