These groupings are not fixed. Oregon Freemasons support Raising a Reader

Oregon Freemasons have chosen to support Ontario School District in partnership with Raising A Reader, a literacy program on a mission to engage young readers and strengthen family routines.

Principals and teachers from Aiken and May Roberts elementary schools attended an initial training session provided by Kristen Anderson of the Raising A Reader program.

Vivary Masonic Lodge presents cheque to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance

MEMBERS, wives and partners of Taunton’s Vivary Masonic Lodge raised £475 at a Christmas gathering at the home of the then Master, Chris George and his wife, Rachel.

A cheque has now been presented to Tina Viksna, the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance fund raising manager, by Alwyn Clegg and Bhuvnesh Bhalla, father-in-law of the host and the lodge treasurer respectively.

Open to Masons of all ranks, the Federation Lodge meeting commences at 16:00, Plans for the Daggards W Bros Eddie Wildman and Ean Blair to perform Festive Board Entertainment, a light-hearted look at the historical and present day music used when Lodge Meetings are concluded and the eating and drinking begins

Ludlow Freemasons cook up £1,700 for Charity

The event, now in its 18th year was staged by Ludlow’s Lodge of the Marches at Culmington Village Hall, and this year attracted a bumper amount of diners with about 150 turning out compared to last year’s 110.

Organiser Colin Edwards said it was heartening to see, and said the event had raised £1,700 from food and a raffle to go towards good causes in the future.
