Freemasons donate £12,000 to LifeLites
At the Quarterly Communications meeting of Grand Lodge held on Wednesday the 14th of June 2017, the Pro Grand Master, MW Bro Peter Lowndes, congratulated the Province on having no less than eighty-eight members present.
After the ceremony, members enjoyed lunch with a guest of honour, Simone Enefer-Doy CEO of LifeLites. The Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Max Bayes, presented Simone with a cheque for £10,000 and a second cheque for £2,000 from an undisclosed Masonic donor.

Petition is signed to form a new military lodge
For a number of years there has been informal discussion amongst a number of Masons meeting on the Fylde Coast, lamenting the lack of a military lodge in the area and indeed the Province of West Lancashire. In the summer of 2016, Robert Wareham of Brotherhood Lodge No 3967 decided to gauge interest in forming a new lodge on the Fylde Coast.
New Provincial Grand Almoner for West Lancashire
Eric Hart was appointed and invested as the Provincial Grand Almoner at Provincial Grand Lodge. He succeeds Ernie Greenhalgh who has retired from the office in order to undertake other national responsibilities within the Masonic care system. Eric will also shortly assume the same role as PrGAlm within Provincial Grand Chapter.
