Cornish Freemasons donate £25,000 to Blood Bikes charity

The Freemasons of Cornwall have donated £25,000 via the Masonic Charitable Foundation Grant to the Cornwall Blood Bikes charity, after it received the most votes in a countywide public poll

Thanks to this remarkable donation, the charity is buying a brand new 1200cc BMW response bike and two further second-hand bikes upgrading its ageing fleet that runs throughout the year in all weathers.

The Masonic Charitable Foundation are delighted to announce that the Charity Grants Committee has approved £450,000 for hospices across England and Wales. In total, the Masonic Community has awarded over £12 million to the hospices since 1984 through the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

Due to the increasing success of the Lodge, which had 14 members when it relocated from London to the Province 5 years ago and now has over 40, there is a need to provide additional stimulus and growth within the Semper Paratus circle.
