Over the last few months, there has been a considerable amount of activity within Semper Paratus Lodge concerning the possible formation of a new Chapter. Due to the increasing success of the Lodge, which had 14 members when it relocated from London to the Province 5 years ago and now has over 40, there is a need to provide additional stimulus and growth within the Semper Paratus circle.

St Aidan Lodge in Blackhill, Consett has numerous reasons to celebrate in their meeting after the Great North Run weekend.

Assistant Provincial Grand Master David Sanders Hay, as part of a formal visit to St Aidan Lodge, presented a 50 Year Certificate to Worshipful Master, Jonathan Golightly on behalf of long standing St Aidan member James Richardson who was sadly unable to attend due to ill health.

There is no shortage of canals and paths in the Wigan area, all within striking distance of the three Masonic halls in the Borough, but the group decided to make one of its MCF 2021 Festival fundraising events a special day out and opted for a sponsored walk along the Lancaster canal.

Sure and Stedfast Lodge No 9326 bow out with Two Donations

The closure of Sure and Stedfast Lodge No 9326 was not the final act of this former Boy’s Brigade lodge at Liverpool. Renowned for their generosity of spirit across the years, the members on closure settled all bills, ensured a provision to lodge widows and contemplated where the residue would be best placed. It was agreed to make two pecuniary donations, the recipients chosen being Liverpool Masonic Hall and the Kindred Lodges Association.
