On Monday, 10th July, twenty-six Masons and their guests attended a well organised BBQ evening at the Ifach Golf Club, the new home of Armonia de Ifach Lodge No 46. The sun was out, the drinks flowing freely and a really good time was had by all.
New St John Ambulance for Haverfordwest presented by West Wales Freemasons at Cathedral service.
A £56,000 grant from the Foundation has funded a new ambulance for the Haverfordwest Division of St John Cymru Wales.
On Sunday 9th July, Llantwit Major Lodge No. 9241 held a Summer Garden Party in aid of Velindre Cancer Center. The event took place at W.Bro Michael Thomas’s house and gardens in Rhoose and was well supported by family and friends of the lodge. Everyone enjoyed an afternoon in the sunshine with good food, drink and live musical entertainment that went on into the evening
On Sunday 2nd July, the West Cumbria Hospice at Home Colour Run took place at Muncaster Castle. Over 800 people entered the event which consisted of a 1 km and a 5 km circuit. The 5k or 1k courses were open to all ages, genders and abilities and encouraged people to have fun, get messy and raise money for a great cause. The organisers of the event were hoping to raise over £30k on the day to contribute to the running of the Hospice at Home Charity
THE WIDOW of a former Keighley driving instructor has run a half-marathon in his memory. Local Freemasons joined in the fundraising drive after Jenny Carruthers decided to do the run in honour of her late husband Michael.
An Open Evening was held to showcase the Masonic Tercentenary Exhibition at Kendal Museum on the evening of Saturday 8th July.
Over sixty masons and friends attended to view this superb collection of rare and important artefacts gathered from all over Cumbria and displayed here together for the first time.
The exhibition has been organised and co-ordinated by Dr Chris Lane with the assistance of many of the Westmorland Freemasons Lodges.

On Saturday 22nd July in the stunning grounds of the Royal Masonic School for Girls, Rickmansworth, both Middlesex and Hertfordshire Provinces will be joining together in this Tercentenary year to run a joint Grand Family Fete from 12 noon until 4.30pm.
