Due to the kindness of Leopold 1760 members,families & guests at The Jolly Boys Christmas Lodge he had a surplus amount of Donations and put it to the members of Leopold if they knew of any locally based Scarborough Charities which could really use £600.00.
In January the Provincial Grand Lodge of Edinburgh donated £1,000 to the Leith Foodbank.
The foodbank provides a minimum of three days emergency food and support to local people in crisis.

Masons’ breakfast raises $3,500 for Herald reporter’s medical bills
THANKS to Devon Freemasons and the Unity Lodge, in Crediton, Crediton District Girlguiding has received £1,000 to help upgrade its headquarters at Lords Meadow.
The money is part of £40,000 given by Freemasons around Devon to local charities and organisations throughout the county who are in need of assistance.

Generosity of donors had made an enormous difference in helping residents to rebuild their lives.Colin Stroud, chair of the York Disaster Fund, said 250 grants totalling £440,000 had been given out so far to 175 households, so there were still funds available to which people could apply. Yorkshire Freemasons have, to date, contributed £25,000 to the appeal.
