Their Worshipful Master’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary
On Saturday 14th May, the Rudyard Kipling Lodge No 9681 hosted a white table meeting to celebrate their Worshipful Master’s, Bro Brian Daulton and Mrs Mary Daulton’s sixty happy years of marriage. Fifty three members, guests and ladies were entertained by Mrs Sadie Hirst who gave a very interesting presentation on historic cookery books and our ever-changing attitude to food.
At the festive board a toast was given to this wonderful couple and Sadie presented them with a splendid cake she had baked. To complete the celebrations, Sadie’s son, Cub Scout Oliver Hirst presented them with a bottle of champagne. W Bro Daulton thanked Sadie for making their afternoon so memorable and everyone for their good wishes.
