This year as part of their annual support of hospices throughout the country the Assistant Provincial Grand Master of Devonshire W. Bro. Craig Cox presented a certificate denoting the £1000 given on behalf of the Freemasons of Devonshire and the Masonic Charitable Foundation to Carey MacKenzie and Rachel Willmott at Hospiscare’s Kings House Day Hospice in Honiton.

£50k donated by Freemasons to help seriously ill people in Africa

Thousands of seriously ill people across Africa, who have no access to surgeons, will be treated thanks to a major new surgical training programme funded by West Lancashire Freemasons.

The £50,000 will help fund a programme specifically designed to develop the next generation of young surgeons in Africa, giving them access to the latest life-saving techniques, which are very common in the UK
