Despite atrocious weather conditions in the morning which almost rendered the course unplayable, the ground-staff worked wonders to enable our 32 players to get out on the course. Unfortunately, during the event the weather once again intervened to ensure that everyone had, if not an enjoyable day, definitely one which they will long remember with a certain number of balls being ‘retired’

Bro. Brent Thompson lost his life in the line of duty during the incident in Dallas. Officer Thompson was a Master Mason and member of Corsicana Lodge No. 174 in Corsicana, Texas. His son, William, is a member of DeMolay
The team enjoyed another successful day out at East Barnet Festival on Sunday, the second time we’d attended this event.

A combination of glorious weather and the organisational skills of the Lancaster and District Masonic Group golf representative Arthur Laycock helped to ensure a wonderful day when golfers from the Lancaster and District Group took part in the local round of the West Lancashire Provincial Golfing Tournament at Bentham Golf Club.
At his Installation on October 19th 2015 WBro John Young PPGReg, WM explained that during his year as Master he wanted raise funds for Derby Mountain Rescue Team and Guide Dogs (Derby) being involved with both charities as John and his wife Janet were both Puppy Walkers for Guide Dogs for five years and John is a member of the Derby Mountain Rescue Team’s Supporters Group and their youngest son, Mark is a Section Leader within the Team
