W Bro Annison Receives his Certificate

 

Marking fifty years in Freemasonry from the Provincial Senior Grand Warden, W Bro David Metcalf.

W Bro Annison was initiated into Tooting Bec Lodge No 6837 on the 15th April 1966 where he remained a member for 26 years before it was closed. Having moved away from London, he joined St Ivo Lodge No 2684, Huntingdon in 1978 where he became Worshipful Master in 1991, followed by many years as their Charity Steward. With further work related moves, he joined the Northants & Hunts Lodge of Installed Masters No 3422, Northampton in 1991 and then the Vale of Welland Lodge No 8845, Peterborough in 2000 where he was again Charity Steward for many years. In fact between the St Ivo and the Vale of Welland Lodges, he covered three Provincial Festivals. He was appointed ProvSGD in 1997 and promoted to PProvGSwdB in 2002.

Retiring to Langtoft, Lincolnshire he has joined St Pega Lodge No 8317. He continues his work with Charities and is currently very active with the Sue Ryder Hospice in Peterborough and his local Church.
