TLC Teddy Bears are Little but Greatly Appreciated

TLC Teddy Bears are Little but Greatly Appreciated

The TLC Teddy Bears donated by Somerset Freemasons to local hospitals and medical centres really do have a positive effect on those youngsters who find themselves in need of those places out of necessity rather than choice.

The effect that the gifted Teddy Bears have upon those children goes quietly undocumented and therefore possibly unnoticed by the brethren of this province.

Brethren, be sure that they do indeed make a great and long-lasting difference.

I have just received this heartwarming letter of thanks from one such recipient from Nether Stowey.

Issy is the seven year old granddaughter of W. Bro Clive Dunster of Exmoor Lodge 2390 in Minehead.

I will let you read the note as she wrote it to me………………….

Dear Grandad Andy,

Please could you put a thankyou message on your computer to all the kind men at boys club. When I am poorly and go to hospital in Minehead, I am always given a little bear to make me feel brave. The nurses tell me that you, my Grandad and all your boys club friends pay for the bears. My favourite bear is called Pinky.

Thank you. Lots of love. Isabella XXX aged 7 years and 7 months.

Bro. Andy Baird.
