Provincial Grand Lodge of Lincolnshire Clay Shoot At Dalby Hall

23 teams of 4 guns and individuals totalling over 100 entries from 10 Lodges took part in the competition with the host Lodge, Eccles, entering 7 teams. The sporting round of 50 clays over 5 stands proved challenging and enjoyable to all who took part. A practice stand and 2 have-a-go facilities were also available.

The event was co-ordinated by Martin Reeve of Eccles Lodge with excellent support from the Ladies and Brethren of Eccles Lodge in trapping, scoring, catering, raffle, tombola and all associated administration.

The team event was won by: Eccles A on 165 points, team members: Martin Reeve, Dave Harwood, Danny Johnson and Mark Marsden.

Second place: Sudbrooke on 164 points, team members: Richard King, Steve Wilkinson, Ben Knight and John Whitworth.

 

Third place: Eccles Fowl Foursome on 143 points, team members: Kevin Cocks, Keith Cocks, Craig Dennis and Steve Knowles.

Individual high gun:

1st place: Richard King on 45, 2nd place: Martin Reeve on 45, 3rd place: Dave Harwood on 44.
