PPGM Installs PGM at Dean Leigh – Herefordshire News

In what must be a very unusual, if not unique occasion, the Immediate Past Provincial Grand Master for Herefordshire, RW Bro Rodney Smallwood, Installed the present Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro The Rev’d David Bowen, into the Chair of Dean Leigh Masters’ Lodge on 16 May 2016. Dean Leigh is the Installed Masters’ Lodge in the Province of Herefordshire, and this very special event was further enhanced by fraternal visits by representatives of Installed Masters’ Lodges from neighbouring Provinces.

Both incoming and outgoing WMs referred to their excellent working relationship over the years with RW Bro Smallwood as PGM and RW Bro Bowen as his Deputy, and subsequently. The new WM expressed his intention of spending as much time as he could with the Masters of other Herefordshire Lodges during his year on the circuit.

The Toast to the Visitors was entertainingly proposed by the Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW Bro Mike Roff, who was also invested into office – as a Steward!
