In the last 12 months £14.2 million provided in Masonic Support – Masonic Charitable Foundation

MCF offer a wide range of support and services to help Masonic families and individuals facing hardship or a personal crisis to rebuild their lives and recover their independence. Thanks to the generosity of their supporters, they were able to assist 4,500 members of the Masonic community in 2016 with grants amounting to £14.2 million.

How it breaks down

During the last 12 months, they have provided over £14.2 million in support of Masonic families experiencing a financial, health or family need.

  • £2.4 million was given to households in financial distress, who were unable to afford everyday living costs.
  • £2.9 million helped people access the medical treatment, mobility aids, home adaptations, respite care and counselling they need to live healthy and independent lives.
  • £3.8 million helped parents afford IT equipment, course materials, school uniforms and extracurricular activities for their children in full-time education.
  • £5 million was provided to support the RMBI in funding a range of nursing, residential and dementia care to meet the needs of older people.
