Freemasons take Teddy out for Sunday Luncheon and raise £650 for charity

Haslington Golf Club near Crewe didn’t let us down, as always they produced a fabulous meal of home cooked food for Area Five’s Sunday Luncheon party on 16 October which helped generate funds for the TLC Appeal and Silk Brass Band. Lodge members, guests and families we entertained to Head or Tails and a massive raffle. Lodges that supported the event included Congleton; County Palatine; Four Cardinal Virtues; King Solomon’s Temple; Inglemoor; Merlin; Samaritan; Wheatsheaf; Wych Malbank and King Solomon’s Temple from London.

On hand to represent Area Five’s TLC committee were WBro Ron Evans from Crewe and WBro Steve Traves from Chester. APGM WBro George Mann supported what was a most enjoyable day. The returns from this Luncheon generated in excess of £650 which will be allocated to the TLC Appeal and Cheshire’s Silk Band.

The next Sunday Lunch at Haslington Golf Club will be a Christmas meal with Samaritan Lodge 368 who are based in Sandbach on Sunday 11 December. Contact Sabastian at Samaritan Lodge for tickets and bookings.
