Macmillan Cancer Care gains because of a combined effort by 3 Brethren in area 8
On Saturday 1st October 2016, a social evening was arranged at the Margate Masonic Centre by Paul Chute and Barry Watson, Past Masters of Porta Maris Lodge No 4287 and Maurice Kennett a Past Master of Trinity Lodge.
The evening was entertaining, great fun and well attended, by organising a raffle, a game of heads and tails and £1 in the envelope, the result was it raised £400 which the beneficiary is Macmillan Cancer Care. It was an excellent effort and shows that combining resources can make a difference.
