Freemasons of the of the Red Cross of Constantine donate £1000 to Prader-Willi Syndrome Associationhelp

The Derbyshire Division of the Red Cross of Constantine was pleased to present a cheque for £1000 to Susan Passmore, the CEO of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association.

This was donated on behalf of the Grand Sovereign’s Care for Children Fund. Right Illustrious Knight Alan Beckerton, Intendant-General for the Derbyshire Division, together with Very Illustrious Knights John Collison, Deputy Intendant-General and John Beresford, Divisional Recorder, were also present to hear the work that the PWSA carries out throughout the country assisting the families of PWSA sufferers.

The Association also funds research into the Syndrome in the hope that a cure can be found to prevent this genetic disease blighting the lives of so many children.
