Seven Brethren from Shropshire enjoyed a superb weekend in Warwick at the end of June as Round Table lodge members from around the country gathered for a celebration. The fun began even before they left Salop, as certain well- known Brethren vied for the ‘bad boys’ seat on the bus.
The Friday evening comprised a lodge meeting with a demonstration of a 19th century Initiation – while the ladies also met to enjoy a meal and some West End entertainment.
A tour of Warwick Castle was a feature of Saturday, with a Gala Dinner for all in the evening. As can be seen from the pictures (thanks, Steve Pritchard-Jones), it was a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable outing,
The Round Table lodges meet every other year – and in 2018 Shrewsbury will be the venue. We can’t wait!!
