On Tuesday 13th December, a presentation of a cheque for £500 was made to the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance at their shop in Belper on behalf of Pioneer Lodge № 9065.
Each year Pioneer Lodge selects several charitable causes which receive direct support from the fund raising efforts of the membership.
The charity was chosen by Immediate Past Master Robin Appleby to celebrate his year in office. The photograph simply shows Assistant Manager Joyce Bunting and volunteer Les Harrison absolutely thrilled to receive the cheque!
