Ceres Lodge of the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Province have made a wonderful gift of £1,950 to Cynthia Spencer Hospice. Immediate Past Master of Ceres Lodge, Richard Cooke handed the donation to Hospice Fundraising Manager John Helm and Practice Development Lead Amanda Taylor at a White Table meeting at Freemason’s Hall last week, following a talk on the modern Hospice movement and Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
The money was raised during Richard’s tenure as Worshipful Master of the Lodge, through a Ladies Night and Quiz Evening.
John said “We are absolutely delighted that Ceres Lodge have made this wonderful donation to the Hospice. We very much appreciate the support of the Hospice by Ceres Lodge this year and the work that our local Freemasons do to support our community as a whole.”
