Freemasons Grand Sovereigns Care for Children Fund donate £1000.00 to St. Oswald’s Hospice

Cheque Presentation to the St. Oswald’s Hospice from the Red Cross of Constantine Masonic Order.

The Grand Sovereigns Care for Children Fund has been able to make another donation to a local charity.  Following on from the £5,000.00 presented to CHUF – the Children’s Heart Unit Ward 23 at the Freeman Road Hospital – a further £1000.00 was donated to the St. Oswald’s Hospice to purchase a new pulse oximeter for the Children’s Hospice service. The equipment allows the nursing team to pick up any deterioration in a child’s health and to flag any issues to the medical team.

Michael Daws and Chis Allan had the honour to present the cheque to Nikki Wilkinson from the hospice.
