Freemasons donate £250 to Ribble Valley Talking Newspaper

Supporting Ribble Valley Talking Newspaper

Ribble Valley Talking Newspaper offer an audio version of local newspapers in the Clitheroe area, including the Clitheroe Advertiser and Times.  The Talking Newspaper is for blind and partially sighted local residents  and it comes out as a CD every Friday.

There are many volunteers involved in the Talking Newspaper, which includes EComp David Bristol PGStB the East Lancashire Provincial Grand Chapter, Director of Ceremonies who is one of the readers.

At a recent East Ribble District Charity Stewards’ meeting the Charity Stewards agreed to donate £250 towards the running of the Talking Newspaper.  The East Ribble District Charity Steward Mike Stubbs, along with Derek Harwood the Charity Steward from Keep Lodge and Ian Johnson the East Ribble District Assistant Secretary and Charity Steward for Limestone Rock lodge made the presentation with the Assistant District Charity Steward David Gill  behind the camera.
