Devonshire Lodge № 625 WM Colin Richardson and Lodge members hand over cheques amounting to £400 to Joyce Brocklehurst, Chair of Glossop & District Age Concern. The organization is a registered local charity whose aim is helping older people by organizing events, trips out and Christmas food parcels.
Joyce commented that small charities have need of funds constantly as neither Local nor National Government contribute. The money will be put to good use.
Colin said that the Lodge was pleased to be able to help this valuable local charity that does such important work in Glossopdale.
