Members of Ashlar-Aspetuck Lodge No. 142 gathered at Union Cemetery to give back to the community. They did this by spending several hours on May 14, cleaning up some very old and neglected plots that likely hadn’t seen the light of day in quite some time.

“We have been looking for ways to increase our involvement and visibility in the community, and this seemed like a good place to start,” said Joe Zannino, Worshipful Master of the lodge. “As Freemasons we embrace the tenets of Friendship, morality and brotherly love. We do this by using the teachings of Freemasonry to better ourselves, our community and each other. Opportunities like this enable us to do all of those things.”

Ashlar-Aspetuck Lodge No.142 is located at 200 Center Road in the old, white building on the hill that some long-time residents may remember as the Easton Grange.
